Ever attentive and sensitive in taking targeted action coherent with our personal and corporate values, we’re happy to introduce to you a new cooperation: a few months ago, Ravioli has started to plant trees in cooperation with Treedom®, a company that promotes tree planting in 17 Countries all over the world.
Planting a tree with Treedom® is a real action that involves us in a process of global improvement in two directions. On the one hand, the realisation of agroforestry systems maximises the tree’s capability of absorbing CO2, enriching the soil with nutrients, holding water, and protecting the biodiversity of the different territories.
On the other hand, the trees and their fruits belong to the farmers, who can eat or sell them. Moreover, crops and animals are better protected from the harmful effects of sunlight, wind, heavy rain, and extreme climate events.
A project which is constantly growing, as the data collected in the annual report shows, which we are excited to be a part of.
With the birth and growth of Ravioli’s Forest, which will be supported by the planting of 600 trees of different species all over the world in the next 3 years, we are deeply connected and involved in a change we strongly believe in. A change each of us can contribute to support, even with small actions and gestures in everyday choices that can really make the difference.
